One of the poorest and least developed countries, Madagascar is also one of the most fascinating to visit. With wildlife which is mostly unique, scenery which is unusual and diverse, and people who are friendly and approachable, it is utterly beguiling. It also left a very deep impression: of enchanting wildlife and desperate people.

Green Tonight
A night walk discovery in Andasibe, Madagascar. A local was able to point out several chameleons at night walking through the forest. In Madagascar they are relatively common, and diverse with many different species. This is a common short-nosed chameleon. By shooting in line with the leaf on which it was resting, I was able to show its tail underneath too. [Calumma Gastrotaennia]
